• Substrate: Use soil or coco-peat with plenty of leaf litter and bark
• Moisture: Keep the enclosure moderately damp, never waterlogged
• Temperature: Ideal range is 20–25°C
• Lighting: Indirect light is best—they prefer shady, hidden spots
• Food: Offer vegetable scraps, dried leaves, and calcium (like cuttlebone)

Commonly known as slaters, these crustaceans are an everyday part of Aussie gardens and bioactive setups.
