In outdoor gardens, these isopods are natural recyclers—but in large populations, they might nibble soft seedlings. To keep things balanced, reduce mulch buildup or introduce natural predators like ducks or chickens.

• Temperature: Ideal range is 20–22°C
• Lighting: Indirect light only—avoid direct sunlight
• Feeding: Offer decaying leaves, vegetables (like carrot or cucumber), and protein sources (e.g., dried shrimp or mealworm powder)
